Autumn memories & Celtic days...

Wow! It's been FAR too long since I last posted, now Autum is nearly gone!

I have been incredibly busy (again), I got a job up the road from me at a small stables, helping the owner look after her ponies (some rescues). I've really been enjoying my time there but I can't believe how incredibly unfit I am! o_O Eeshk I suppose that's what a 2-3 year gap does to you *rolls eyes*

I've got a bike to cycle to and from work on (which was an adventure in itself seeing as I hadn't rode one since I was about 10), it's quite fun riding along the lanes on it (now I've stopped wobbling violently everytime a car comes by :-P). This afternoon as I cycled back home there was the most amazing sunset, coulda kicked myself for not having the camera on me at the time, but never fear, tomorrow is supposed to be sunny too so I shall be sure to get some pics then :)

I've been slightly (:-P) obsessing over the new Merlin series on BBC1, can't believe it's nearly over! Only 3 more episodes to go! :-(
There's a fantastic fan forum here (my UN is Vinara):

It is an amazing series and I really really hope they do another next year :D

I have finally got a wallhanging all ready for sale. I started work on it quite a while ago now, and I'm rather chuffed with it. I'd ideally like to keep it but gotta earn a few crusts so it'll be up for sale very shortly. I can't decide wear to post it- eBay, Etsy, or just on the website (which is still a work in progress)
Anyway here it is, hope someone might like it enough to purchase it :)

Forest Adventures...

Hello :),

Sorry for not posting in such a long time, we have been busy, busy, busy. I have a couple of new felting projects on the go, one of which is very near completion. I will get pictures up shortly (yes we have a new camera!). My time has been taken up with garden clearing, lawn mowing (when the rain holds off), and pathway building among other things...

Yesterday though we (my sister and I) had an interesting time exploring the local forest, Cookworthy. This is just a stones throw from us but alas not walkable as there's a busy road to negotiate. The weather was beautiful and sunny and we wandered around for a good few hours, took lots a pictures and some very daft videos :-P. It's a huge place (if memory serves roughly 2000 acres!), and we only got to see a small portion of it really. The forest is home to many wild animals including red deer, barn owls, woodpeckers, and I wouldn't mind betting some wild boar by now (I only recently learnt that about 50 boar were released from a farm not far from us!).

I have a teeny forest picture slideshow up above ^^. Here are a selection of other pictures, we took near 70 o_O...

Pictures at last :-)

I finally got to take some pics of my elf man. My own wee camera died on me, but luckily we were lent one to take some pics of our guest house with, so naturally I took pics of some other stuff too ;-P, including my sisters little kitten Darcey :-D:

He isn't finished (still!), he needs some hands, toes, shoes and a number of other details. We have been soo unbelievably busy redecoratiing that I've had little spare time on my hands (except when I flake out somewhere exhausted hehe). I will try to finish him soon and do a better photo shoot with him out in our woodland :-)

Now for the kitten pics! Would you belive that this sweet, innocent girl is capable of savage, sneaky attacks on unsuspecting ankles? O_o Hmpph!

Pixie wishes from Devon!! :-D
